Congratulations on the fine series regarding Finding faith! 

You did an excellent job of presenting a great deal of unbiased information that was very interesting.  

Understandably not all houses of faith could be covered, nor all the outreaches.  Readers might be interested to know that the South Gorham Baptist Church has had a team of people going to La Romada in the Dominican Republic for six years, with 30 or more people each of the last four years.  They take in medications and other essential items, and put their shoulders to the wheel doing construction on a hospital and a church, and giving medical care, most years with a volunteer medical doctor.  Several young people have been joined by a parent or grandparent in doing this service.  

A team is currently preparing to go in April and would welcome the prayers of your readers.
