A Church Street resident reported their Dalmatian had broken through their electric fence.
SOUNDS FISHY
A Longview Drive resident reported they had received a suspicious telephone call from a woman claiming to be their grand-daughter, requesting money.
MORE BAD NEWS FOR THE PPH
A caller reported almost being hit by a newspaper delivery van on Evergreen Drive. The publisher was advised of the complaint.
UP IN SMOKE
A caller reported following a vehicle on New Portland Road whose occupants were smoking marijuana.
QUITE A RIDE
A New Portland Road resident reported a neighbor’s car had traveled across the road, down a slope, through a fence and into a tree on their property.
CAN YOU DIG IT?
A caller reported a group of youth gathering in the village.
WARRIORS
A caller reported a large group of people fighting at the intersection of College Avenue and School Street.
JAMES BOND SIGHTING?
A Distant Pines Drive resident reported a helicopter hovering in the area. Police spoke with the foreman on the construction site, who verified the helicopter belonged to the company that was installing fiber optic cable.
WHERE THERE’S SMOKE…
A State Street resident reported seeing smoke from behind a residence.
SEX OFFENDER
A registered sex offender notified police they would be working in Gorham for about three months.
